Stand For Freedom 2019: Resources Page

This page provides resources and posters from our Stand For Freedom event (24-25 May 2019), focused on raising awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery. This year we were considering the fashion industry in particular.

Stand For Freedom was run by Just Love Oxford, in association with International Justice Mission, the McCain Institute, and Oxford City Council.

Ethical Stash in Your College

We think it would be great for as many common rooms and societies to commit to only buying stash from ethical suppliers. Motions to this effect have already been passed by a number of JCRs, which is really encouraging! If you’d like to push your JCR in the right direction, here’s a draft of a motion to put forward:
